F. W.Stockburger

Finley Webb Stockburger (Webb), age 77, passed away at home from a long illness on December 5, 1999.He served in the Navy during WWII (South Pacific) and the Korean War. He retired from the Hoover Company after 38 years as a tool-and-die maker and foreman. He was a scout leader for many years, receiving the Silver Beaver award in 1971. He was a 32 degree Mason and in June 1998 was presented with a 50 year pin. He was a member of Elks #2029 and Eagles #2223.

He is survived by his wife, Clara, of 56 years, his son, David, and daughter-in-law, LeAnna DeAngelo, of Springfield, MO, a daughter, Nancy, and Son-in-law, Robert Leach, of Canton, a daughter, Joy, and son-in-law, Mike Kaufman of Randolf, New Jersey, six grandchildren, and brothers Lee and David of Florida.

As to his wishes he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Wednesday, December 8 at John Knox Presbyterian Church where he was a member. Calling hours will be held an hour before the memorial service. No flowers, please.
